I actually had friends that didn't smoke when I did, but came outside with me just to be able to have a "sunshine break". I also had co-workers that felt that they were not treated fairly because they didn't smoke and didn't get to take a regular break. I used to ask them, "What's stopping you?" When I quit smoking, I quit venturing outside quite as often, and I missed it. Now I take my cup of coffee or my phone and just take a bit of time for myself. I regenerate my energy and just delight in being out of doors.

So, don't take your vitamin D from a bottle. Take a break from your work day and get away into the sunshine. Everyone is entitled, by law, to take breaks and to have a lunch break.
